Elizabeth Holmes : Technology makes the difference

The Class of 2015 on the Forbes list of new billionaires has a really interesting newcomer: Elizabeth Holmes. The fact that she just turned 31 years old is impressive. But the amazing part is the difference her company Theranos is making in the health field for normal people.

Every year, Forbes releases a list of International Billionaires. New on this list, and the youngest self-made woman ever, is Elizabeth Holmes. Her company has a net. worth of 4,5 billion dollar. And is likely going to change the health industry as it is.

Elizabeth Holmes dropped out of Stanford University during her sophomore year. The money she saved for college was the start up of her company Theranos.

Theranos is a blood testing company.  The company focuses on making blood analysis quicker, less painful, easier and a lot less expensive. With one pinprick,  a lot of different ailments can be spotted. She is creating tremendous possibilities. She's not only making the hospital system easier, but also making it possible to do this kind of testing in pharmacies.                     For only 3 dollar a pinprick test at Walgreens, different diseases could be made visible on shorter notice. Different pharmacies around the united states are going to start a trail with this innovation. Elizabeth Holmes is changing the health-industry for everyone  and also making diseases more treatable because they will not be spotted too late.
Like Holmes told the new yorker: We see a world in which no one ever had to say, ‘If only I’d known sooner,'”
